Rural Health In June 2003, the Texas A&M Health Science Center established the Rural and Community Health Institute, which partners with rural and community health facilities, clinics and physicians to provide a variety of educational programs, strengthen clinical outcomes, assure quality and patient safety, benchmark health care delivery services, provide health care delivery assessments, establish database management and analysis, and conduct policy research that may be difficult for small or rural facilities to accomplish alone.  Its peer reviews offer an effective, economical and reliable option for rural medical staffs to objectively evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care.

Visit our Rural and Community Health Institute Website for more information.
