These programs use an interdisciplinary approach to provide educators and biomedical researchers for the future. Students and faculty of the GSBS are located in College Stations, Houston, and Dallas. The school offers M.S. and Ph.D. in medical science.
The Texas A&M Health Science Center's Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is dedicated to providing a rigorous and stimulating research and training environment for qualified candidates in the biomedical sciences, dentistry and rural public health. Outstanding M.S., Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.D.S./Ph.D. and D.M.D./Ph.D. students provide the intellectual capital required to advance the research and educational mission of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and to provide a new generation of leaders in the biomedical sciences. The graduate faculty is committed to excellence in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research training for students whose intellectual contributions will provide the basic knowledge to cure diseases and to improve health and well-being for all people. The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is accredited as a division of the Texas A&M Health Science Center by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Council of Graduate Schools in the United States.
